CHAPTER NINETY SIX – KARINA’S MISTAKE

As the evening progressed, Karina found herself enjoying Alex's company. He was witty and charming, and seemed genuinely interested in her opinions on various business matters. She barely noticed the way Miguel's jaw tightened every time she laughed at one of Alex's jokes. "So, Karina," Alex said, leaning in slightly.
