CHAPTER ONE HUNDRED AND NINETEEN –A CHOICE TO MAKE

After their workout, as they were cooling down, Seth turned to her with a serious expression. "Karina, I know my presence here is unexpected, but I had to see you. I've been doing a lot of thinking, and I realized what a fool I was to let you go. Is there any chance you might consider giving us another shot?" Karina felt her heart race, and not from the exercise. "Seth, I... this is all so sudden. I don't know what to say." Seth reached out, taking her hand in his. "You don't have to answer right now. Just promise me you'll think about it? We were good together once. We could be again." Before Karina could respond, she caught sight of Miguel entering the gym. His eyes narrowed as he took in the scene before him, Seth holding her hand, their faces close together. Karina quickly pulled her hand away, feeling a pang of guilt even though she knew she had nothing to feel guilty about. "I need some time to think, Seth," she said quietly. "This isn't a decision I can make lightly." Seth
