Chapter 6

Damon's POV Work has been really hectic this days that I hardly have time for myself. From signing business contracts to attending conference minutes and also travelling out of the country often. I should be taking a break but I can't. I still need to manage my company closely so I can achieve my goals quickly. After working nonstop since I arrived at work, it was finally lunch time. I heaved a sigh and stood up to leave when my best friend came in. "Aria!" I exclaimed happily and stood up to give her a side hug "You just abandoned me all this while, it really isn't fair" I said with a pout "Oh please! You never even bothered to call which shows how much I'm not welcomed here" she said rolling her eyes "I'm sorry, I've been busy but I promise to create time for you from now on" I said seriously "Yeah, you've said that countless times already so it's not new to me anymore" she shrugged "I'm for real this time, just wait and see. Should we eat lunch together or you've eaten already?" I asked walking towards the door "Let's eat together, I haven't really eaten today anyway" she said following behind me We got into my car and I drove to a five star restaurant not to far from my company. Getting down from the car, we walked into the restaurant after wearing our shades. We are both celebrities so we can't make the mistake of going out without covering our faces except if we want to get into trouble with crazy fans. "When are you planning to get married?" Aria suddenly asked out of the blue as we ate "I'm not ready for marriage yet, it's not a part of my plan for now. I still have a long way to go and I won't let marriage disrupt any of my plans" I said simply "Don't you love anyone at all? Like, is there someone you have feelings for?" she asked "No, I've never had time for things like that" I answered honestly "T.....then what about me?" she asked sadly "You? I don't understand" I said shifting uncomfortably "You know what I mean Damon. Before your mom passed away, she asked us to get married, won't you fulfill her last wish?" she asked and I closed my eyes folding my eyes into a fist "I will be in the car, meet me when you are done" o said and left without waiting to hear a word from her Aria knows my only weakness and that's my mom. I just wish she was alive to cuddle me all night and pamper me like a baby. Mom, I miss you so much. I just wish you were here with me, I miss you. I heard a knock on the glass of the door and I opened it when I saw it was Aria. "Damon, I'm so...." "Please, I just want to drive back quietly" I cut her off and she kept quiet after seeing my face As soon as we arrived at the company, I went into my office without saying a word to her while she trailed behind me. She must know I'm not in a good mood right now. My only weakness has been my mom and she knows that so well, I guess that's why she's using it to her advantage. "Damon I'm really sorry, please say something" she pleaded standing before me "I told you already, I want to be alone" I said simply and closed my eyes "Okay, I will just take my leave then" she said and left quietly I need to learn to control myself whenever my Mom's name is mentioned because it can be easily used against me just like Aria did. Sun Young's POV I got discharged from the hospital after the doctor confirmed I was fit to return home. Young Ho wouldn't let me do anything, not even walking with my own two feet. He carried me right from the ward into the car and strapped the seat belt around me after which he closed the door. "Let's go to my mansion this night" he said after getting into the car I gulped nervously and slowly nodded my head, oh God help me! I'm really scared, what if he does something? No! Young Ho won't do that! "Nevermind, I will take you to band mates instead. I think that will be better" he said gently and I didn't fail to notice the hurt in his voice. "Young Ho...." I called in a low voice "Please don't say anything" he said calmly and faced the other side Is that tears I'm seeing in his eyes? It can't be right? What have I done? "Young Ho please, I'm sorry" I pleaded gently hoping he would listen but he didn't even spare me a glance until we finally arrived at the mansion I live with my band mates. He parked the car carefully and was about stepping out of it when I held his hand with tears on my face. "I'm really sorry Young Ho, forgive me" I said again but he took my hands off and got down from the car After getting my things ready, he opened the door for me and helped me out. "Take good care of her please" he said to my band mates while bowing slightly, then he turned around and left in his car This is the first time he will be ignoring my tears and it hurts a lot. I know I must have really hurt his feelings so much because he has never gone this far. I gently walked into the house and locked myself in my room as soon as I got in. Young Ho will come around soon because he doesn't stay mad at me for too long. I just don't know how to face him when he finally decides to forgive me. I sat on my bed staring at nothing in particular when my phone suddenly rang. That must be Young Ho! I hurriedly stood up to pick it up but I was disappointed when I saw it was my brother. "Orabeoni" I called after answering the call "Sun Young, what is wrong?" he asked with concern "It's Young Ho, he's mad at me" I said as tears streamed down my cheeks "What did you do? You've just recovered but you've done something to offend him?" he asked in surprise I took my time in explaining everything in details to him without skipping any part. "Do you think he will forgive me?" I asked when I was done "He will! He loves you beyond measure so you don't need to worry, he will come around" he assured I nodded my head vigorously before remembering that he can't see me. "I hope so! I'll wait until he comes around" I said sadly "That's my baby sis! Now wipe your tears okay?" "Thanks brother, I love you" He blew me a kiss after which I ended the call with a smile on my face.
