Chapter 110: Missing?
It was a dream, a nightmare. The whole thing was really a dream even though it didn't seem like it. I never knew dreams could look so real like that, and when I woke up I couldn't stop panting. My whole body was damp due to sweat, and just as I looked around the bed imagining the amount of sweat my body released, my phone began ringing. Surprisingly, it was in my hand. I held it so tight, the same way I saw myself holding it in the dream. I didn't even have the time to check the caller ID properly, I just answered the call.
"Laura, where are you? Are you in your room? Please go and check those kids, one of them us crying!" It was Aunt Vicky, and as soon as she said that she terminated the call. Just then, I decided to check on the kids, I didn't know what was going on but I guess they were missing their mom. I checked the time and realized it was almost six. I sluggishly headed downstairs to check the kids only to find the door opened and none of them around.
