CHAPTER THIRTY-THREE OBLIGATION
As Luke sat at his desk, the harsh glow of the computer screen casting long shadows across the room, his mind was consumed by thoughts of the recent turn of events. It had been days since his last mission, days since he had been contacted by his uncle with orders to continue his duties as a shadow of the Green family. And yet, despite his best efforts to focus on his work, he couldn't shake the feeling of unease that gnawed at him like a persistent itch.
The conversation with his uncle had left Luke reeling, the weight of his obligations as a member of the Green family bearing down on him like a heavy burden. He knew that he couldn't ignore his uncle's orders, and couldn't turn his back on the family that had shaped his entire existence. But at the same time, he couldn't help but feel a sense of dread at the thought of continuing down the dark path that lay before him.
