Chapter 45 Be Careful

Jane applied some lotion to her face. When she was done, she got up to take her phone from her bag and carefully laid down on the far left side of the bed. The bed was really big. Alex was lying right in the middle, and when Jane got on there was still enough space between them that she couldn't touch his body.. Jane pulled the quilt over herself and took out her phone with her back to Alex. As soon as she opened it, she received a text from an unknown number: [Dear Jane, are you asleep? Long time no see.] Jane's face was puzzled as she wondered who sent the message. Dear? Long time no see? It seemed that among the people she knew, the only one who could call her name so intimately was Jake. How did he get her number? Jane hesitated for a while then she replied: [ Jake? Is that you? ] In a short while, her phone dinged, and his message quickly came through: [Yes, my dear. You're so smart. I'll pick you up at the entrance of your company tomorrow afternoon. Miss you.] Jane
