George looked at Sigrid and asked, "Are you sure?" "I'm sure!" Sigrid quickly nodded her head. George put his arm around her and said, "Let's go down and have dinner first. We'll talk about it after dinner." Sigrid thought he just wanted to stall for time. But she felt hungry too, so she did not refuse and went downstairs with him. She originally thought that she would see George kneel on the washboard after dinner. Hence, she ate too much because she was so happy. However, she discovered that someone took the washboard away when she returned to the room. She immediately glared at him and asked, "Did you secretly ask someone to take it away?"
