George replied, "We'll talk about it when we're home." He grabbed Sigrid and left, while turning around to give Edward a warning look.
Edward felt a chill run down his spine with that glance. However, he didn't dare to say anything. He could only watch them leave, cursing George quietly.
Sigrid got into the car with George. Before she could explain, he started questioning her instead, "What did you two talk about just now?"
His tone made Sigrid feel unhappy. She asked, "What else is there for us to talk about? Why are you so angry?"
Only then did George's expression relax a little. He said, "I'm worried that he'll trick you."
After all, Sigrid had lost her six months of her memory. Who knew if she still had feelings for Edward? The current her had not seen Edward and Rebecca's affair with her own eyes.
