CHAPTER 14 PICKED A WASTE?
Marai placed the grilled fish neatly on clean, broad leaves, swiftly cleaning the fish bones with a tree branch. Marai picked a whole large sea fish, not so much like cooking, but more like dissecting it on an operating table.
After washing her hands, Marai planned to grill another fish. Xander and Erin both looked at the grilled fish, and this was not because they were hungry.
While in the forest, Marai found them plenty of fruits and other food to keep them from hunger. Halfway through, Marai had fed Xander and Erin.
It is just that the distribution of the first fish meant Marai’s favoritism.
Erin, unusually, took the initiative to speak up. He sat on a large rock with his chin supported, the hot sun casting a shadow over his prominent features. He looked very handsome.
"Marai.” Erin spoke softly, his voice low and sexy. Despite merely calling out a name, the underlying meaning was evident.
Xander grated his teeth in anger.
“Yes, Erin, is there any problem?” Marai asked.
