Scarlett was setting the table for breakfast when her phone started to ring. Ryke wasn’t yet out of the bedroom. Her eyes widened when she saw the name that appeared on her phone before her jaw clenched in fury. He really dared to call her again. Scarlett didn’t take her phone for her honeymoon trip so when she turned it on again after her return, she was more than surprised to find that Austin had tried to call her multiple times. Of course, she didn’t tell Ryke since he was already upset from Austin’s words at his engagement party. Knowing about these calls would only confirm what he already suspected : that Austin was interested in his wife. Scarlett didn’t want another scandal so she kept it secret.
