Catching feelings

Charlotte settled into Damon's couch, feeling relaxed and content as they watched a movie. She rested her head on his shoulder, and he wrapped his arm around her. They had been dating for a few weeks, and Charlotte was enjoying getting to know Damon better. As the movie ended, Charlotte mentioned the threats that Ryke and Scarlett had been receiving at their home. Damon tensed up at the mention of it, trying to hide his emotions. He knew that he was the one behind the threats, but he didn't want Charlotte to suspect him. "That's really scary," Damon said, putting on a concerned expression. "Have they called the police or anything?" Charlotte shook her head. "They have but they don't think the police can do much since the stalker hasn't physically harmed them yet.
