A letter in the mailbox
Scarlett sat in her art studio, surrounded by her brushes, paints, and canvas. She had been staring at the blank canvas for what seemed like hours, unable to put a single stroke on it. Despite Ryke's encouragement and Alex's offer to work with him, Scarlett was still struggling to paint.
She had always found solace in painting, a way to express herself without having to use words. But after the attacks and the constant surveillance, Scarlett found it difficult to focus on anything, including her passion for painting.
Ryke walked into the room, his eyes immediately falling on Scarlett and her blank canvas. He knew how much painting meant to her and how it helped her cope with difficult times. He sat down next to her, taking her hand in his and gave her a gentle smile.
"Hey, what's going on?" Ryke asked, concerned.
Scarlett sighed, "I don't know. I want to paint, but I just can't seem to get anything on the canvas. It's like I'm stuck."
Ryke placed his hand on her cheek, tilting her head
