“Fia,” Conrad muttered as he held her cold hand. His amber eyes slowly turned red. In that instant, he could empathize with her sorrow and despair. When he saw how Fia was unable to wake up from her nightmare, he lied on the bed and used his strong arms to keep her close to him. He then rubbed her back. “It’s just a dream, Fia. It’s okay.
