Chapter 78- The Beast

Third-person POV Sophie was still confused as she hears the loud thump of doors opening. The bright lights passing by in a flash made her feel disoriented and uncomfortable. "Why are they so bright?" she thought to herself as she became a little annoyed at all the people dressed in scrubs talking extremely loud for her liking. "Sophie. Sophie can you hear me?" she looks over at a doctor who flashes a tiny but so damn intolerable bright light in her eyes making her squint. She grunts, trying to move, but her hands, as well as her feet, are fastened to the stretcher being pulled away to God knows where. The stretcher finally comes to a halt, and she grunts in pain as the adrenaline starts to fade and she's transferred onto a different bed. A pair of nurses begin by cutting away her clothes, taking her hand to check her pressure, and placing an ice-cold stethoscope on her chest.  "What's happening?" she whispers, as the pain in her stomach becomes more intense.
