Chapter 29
At night, it started snowing outside. Louis wondered what Aurora could be doing at the moment.
"Could she be out playing in the snow?" he thought.
The windows were shut, and the heater was turned on inside the ward. Yet, Louis felt cold staying in there.
It was very dark too. Every day when night came, Louis would recall what Jeremy told him about Aurora.
He curled up in bed. His shoulders trembled slightly as he covered his eyes with both hands. Tears streamed from the slits between his fingers.
Louis missed Aurora terribly, and he wanted so badly to see her. However, he felt too scared and discouraged to do it because of his injured legs.
During the day, the physiotherapist came to see Louis. He told Louis to try and massage his legs first to see if he could feel anything.
If he felt that the exercises were not effective, Louis could also increase the intensity while training in the physiotherapy room. However, the physiotherapist also reminded Louis to not overdo it since it
