Chloe stared at the spot where Eddie had left. She understood that he was afraid that their mother would leave them. "Doctor... " "Doctor, where are you?!" Chloe stared at the blood-stained tissue in horror. Her tears were flowing down like a river, her heart torn into pieces. Britney's breathing became more rapid and short. She held hard onto Chloe's hands. "Mom, just hold on for a little longer. The doctor will be here soon!" Chloe choked.  Britney shook her head weakly and said with a smile, "Chloe, it might be too late for the doctor to come. Listen to me carefully." "No, please don't!" Chloe grabbed Britney's hand and put it close to her face, muttering to herself. Marvin sat on the office chair, his arms and legs crossed in a graceful manner. Knock...knock.. "Come in!" "Marvin!" Adrian smiled as he walked to the side of the desk and leaned against it. He sized Marvin up. "Have you seen enough?" Marvin looked at him coldly. "I thought you went to the hospital to be with Chloe? Why
