Unintended Meanings
Ethan arrived shortly after. He quickly got down from the car and asked, "Adeline, what's wrong?"
Seeing Ethan, Adeline said in a hurry, "Ethan, come over here and have a look at him."
"Help me to get him into the car. I'll quickly check on him inside," Ethan urged.
Adeline lifted Alan up. As his entire body was leaning on Adeline, she used her whole energy to support him into the car. She grunted as she helped him to the car, "Why did you stuff yourself with food when you can't even eat that much?"
Positioning him nicely into the car seat, Adeline leaned by the car and huffed. She then mumbled again, "Oh my gosh, I'm so tired. Why is he so heavy?"
Ethan said to Adeline, "Why don't you go towards the side while I check on him?"
Adeline hesitated for a moment before moving to the side. After all, she was a married woman, it was better to stay away from seeing what she shouldn't be seeing.
