An Overly Realistic Dream
Adeline didn't know how long she had been crying. It wasn't until a long while later when she realized that her head was still leaning on Sandrino's shoulder after she had calmed down. She quickly sat up straight and apologized, "I'm sorry, I soiled your clothes."
Seeing that Adeline's mood seemed to have gotten better, Sandrino knew that she had temporarily gotten over her sadness. He then smirked at her and teased, "It's alright. Just heed my words next time, then we'll be even."
Adeline glared at him at that and then turned to look out, ignoring him.
Seeing that she was angry, Sandrino curled his lips and said, "Hey, come on. You can't ignore me right after I've lent you a shoulder to cry on."
Adeline continued to look outside, persistent in turning a blind eye to him.
Not long after, Sandrino had managed to drive them back to the villa. Once the car was parked, Adeline got out of it and saw that the lights were still on in the living room. Her heart skipped a beat as she walked
