Chapter 82

Roxanne woke up to the sun light shining down on her face through the gaps of Lance curtain. She stretched and yawned before laying back on the bed. She opened her eyes and glanced at the clock to see what time it was. She noticed it was 2:14 pm, meaning she had slept for nearly 14 hours. She had already gotten more than enough sleep. Too much if you asked her. Deciding that it was time for her to step out of bed, Roxanne kicked off the duvet and tried getting up, but the moment she attempted the action, her body was pulled back down to the bed. She looked at her waist to find strong arms wrapped around them and as she turned her head to the side, she saw Lance who was fast asleep with a big smile on his face. It looked like he had a wonderful night's rest. Roxanne's heart rate immediately spiked upon seeing his peaceful face and the thought of them having slept in the same bed with possibility of something much intimate occuring, crossed her mind, but she pushed that notion aside.
