Seeking Survival

Hazel was terrified because the person who came into her room was Jacob, and the look in his eyes was so terrifying as if all the craziness was buried in silence, waiting for the last outbreak. He looked a lot different in the night compared to when she saw him in the daytime. During the day, although his gazes were not as cold as they were now, she vaguely felt that he was dangerous. But fortunately, their contact was limited, and Max came out to protect her in time, so she left early. But now, she could clearly feel that he seemed to be out of control. Hazel instinctively jumped off the bed, and her targeted destination was the bathroom. However, even though she was alert and fast enough, she was nothing but a rabbit to him. No matter how fast the rabbit ran, it would be nothing more than prey in the eyes of the vicious beasts. Therefore, Hazel did not go far when Jacob fiercely grabbed her by the neck and strangled her. Shocked, Hazel gasped for air and that was when their eyes met.
