Regan was feeding Hazel some onion soup to reduce her body heat.
He fed her wordlessly.
The room was so quiet that only the sound of the spoon touching the ceramic bowl could be heard.
Although Regan was gentle and affectionate, Hazel knew he must be angry.
Therefore, she could only remain as docile as a rabbit.
