Just the Two of Them

Upon seeing Hazel's aggrieved and miserable expression, Regan felt his heart ache and quickly picked her up. Though he wanted to call for a doctor, Hazel strongly refused. With tears in her eyes, she shook her head anxiously. "No! There's no need for a doctor! I've just eaten too much. I don't want to get an injection or take any medicines!" She wouldn't be fooled. Therefore, no matter how hard Regan tried to coax her, Hazel kept crying that she didn't want to see a doctor. Without a choice, Regan could only ask her to drink glasses of hot water and stopped feeding her food. After experiencing Hazel's soulless state some time ago, Regan couldn't bear to see Hazel's tears and would submit to her words immediately. But he also told her sternly, "If you vomit again, you must see a doctor! Even if you cry or plead, you have to take the medicine. Do you understand?" Hazel nodded quickly and answered vaguely, "Okay, I understand..." However, in the next few days, Hazel became disobedient and
