You’ll Always Be My Brother
When he saw that Jovannie wasn't hurt, Luke was relieved.
"I'm fine. It doesn't hurt," he comforted her.
If it wasn't because of the fear that Jovannie would get hurt, Luke wouldn't hesitate to hug her longer. Otherwise, he didn't have a reason to approach her.
On the other hand, Jovannie was so horrified that she burst into tears.
She was scared that Luke would get hurt.
Luke then helped her up.
As she held her Luke's hand tightly, Jovannie suggested, "Let's take you to a doctor, Luke..."
In truth, Luke could care less about such an injury. He used to undergo various harsh training and never put on a frown.
Still, he agreed, "Alright, we'll see a doctor."
Seeing the look of concern on Jovannie's face, Luke felt that his heart was filled with warmth.
Even when the both of them arrived at the infirmary, Jovannie was still trembling and refused to let go of Luke.
Though Luke noticed, he didn't remind her.
After examining Luke's wrist and elbow, the doctor concluded that he was unscathed.
