Asking for a Miracle
From that day on, Regan stopped worrying about the children's future.
Seeing that he had finally come around, Hazel was happy for him.
Regan told her, "Now when I see that our children are growing up healthily, I'm happy and content."
Hazel nodded in agreement. "Me too."
The time they spent with the children would become precious memories buried in their hearts.
However, Regan would also mutter, "Though they look adorable right now, they were even cuter when they were younger. It's a pity that they'll grow day by day."
The family had a stack of albums that was full of the children's photos. From the first page to the last, one could see the changes in their growth.
When they were bored, Regan and Hazel would snuggle on the sofa as they looked through the albums with interest.
Hazel with a smile, "It's not bad that they've grown. When our children met their partners and gave birth to their own children, we'll become grandparents! I'm sure our grandchildren will be adorable too!"
