You’re Bringing Death Upon Yourself
At noon, Star was quietly sitting on the sofa, turning on the TV, and pretending he was watching shows. In reality, he actually hated the noises coming out from the TV and thought they were rubbish as they gave no necessary information at all.
He just wanted to act like a normal kid.
Whenever the woman got off work and reached the house, he would hear her footsteps.
As he obviously heard them, he still pretended to be an innocent kid. After the door was opened, he turned his head around and showed a surprised smile.
"You're back."
"Yes, I'm back. Say, Star, shall we relax a little? Let's go to the supermarket or the farmers market to get some groceries," the woman suggested gently as her eyes were shining like dazzling stars.
"All right."
In the hustling supermarket, Star was always beaming like a kid, following in the woman's footsteps and listening to her mumble about the things to buy and items that were on sale.
