They Are Still Alive
Hazel was concerned that the people who cared and worried about her would make up lies to comfort her because they were worried that she could not accept the harsh truth.
Her eyes flooding with tears, she demanded, "Look me in the eyes and tell me the truth. I want to listen to the truth."
Despite feeling sheepish and guilty as soon as he saw her serious gaze, Wilson decided that he would tell her everything after she got better and calmed down.
Hence, he cleared his throat and quickly said, "I didn't lie to you, I swear! Boss is okay! He's not sick and not injured. He's absolutely fine. He has a very important matter to tend to right now that needs his full concentration without the slightest error. He is eager to see you too! He was so worried about you that he didn't want to leave."
Looking at Wilson's earnest glance, Hazel decided to believe him although she was still skeptical.
"Alright, I'll wait for him."
Smiling in relief, Wilson urged, "Don't worry about anything, Mrs. Morris.
