The food suited Shane's taste perfectly. After all, Nina had once regarded him as her dearest brother and knew his preferences well. It wasn't difficult if she wanted to please him.
Shane had never cared much about food, treating it merely as a necessity to sustain his body. Yet, whenever Nina cooked, he would always finish every bite with care.
Upon seeing that his mood had visibly improved, she quietly let out a breath of relief. "Have you been skipping meals again?"
She picked up a piece of broccoli with her fork and spoke gently, "You need to eat on time. Your stomach's not in great shape. You'll be the one suffering if it starts hurting again."

She met his gaze with a soft smile. "What is it?"
"Nothing." He shook his head. Recalling her words, he replied, "I'll be more mindful."
