CHAPTER 90: THE BOX THAT BORE THE NEWS
"This isn't going to help at all; you have to at least eat something! You've not eaten anything in days!" Paul scolded, almost raising his voice as he persuaded Cecelia to eat.
Yet, she remained seated, staring into space and saying no word. She had obviously deep thoughts and could not concentrate on anything. She couldn't reason with Paul. Why would he ask her to eat anything at a time like this?!
"Cecelia! I'm talking to you!" Paul said, walking towards her this time to get her attention.
"How can I eat?! Is that the next thing for me to do? I'm going crazy here, and all you can think of is food?" Cecelia screamed. She thought she was angry at Paul and was going to lash out at him until she started crying. She sobbed loudly and broke into his arms.
"I'm sorry, I'm sorry!" Paul continually said as he patted her back and made soothing strokes. He understood her perfectly, but she also needed to be okay. What use would it have been if she had been gone by the time Christian would h
