CHAPTER 81: AFTER THE ATTACK
"Can the car go faster?" Cecilia said beside Paul. She rubbed her knees nervously and tapped it aggressively on the floor.
"We're at a traffic stop; that's why I'm waiting. I can't speed more than this, or I'll get a speeding ticket, or we'll get arrested and can't get to Grandma," Paul explained. The light had turned green, and he buzzed forward.
"Less talking, more driving!!" Cecilia said, pointing forward. She adjusted her seatbelt and moved forward in her seat. If given the chance, she could grab the steering from his hands.
"I'll try my best to be faster, " he replied, pressing on the accelerator. He understood she was urging him to be faster because she was nervous about her grandmother's health.
They finally arrived at the house, and she rushed out of the car before he parked, buzzed through the driveway, and was in the living room in no time.
