"I can't believe him!" Cecilia burst out, her voice shaking with frustration as she stormed into the daycare, her eyes narrowing into slits of anger.
She tossed her bag onto the nearest chair and collapsed beside Sarah, her body trembling as she rubbed her temples with both hands. "He didn't even give me a chance to explain!"
Sitting cross-legged on the couch and sipping her coffee, Sarah shot her friend a worried look.
"What did Paul say the whole time?" she asked softly, placing her cup down. Her brow furrowed in concern as she saw the raw emotion flickering in Cecilia's blue eyes, still burning with rage.
"Because He found out," Cecilia hissed, her fists clenched on her lap. Her voice was a mix of despair and fury.
"About the pregnancy. About Christian. He thinks I've been lying to him this whole time, Sarah. He asked for a divorce… without even hearing me out."
