CHAPTER 64: HE TURNED OUT TO BE TAKEN
"Finally, here she is!" Paul said as he stood up from his chair and adjusted the chair opposite him, making it comfortable for Cecelia to sit in.
"Thank you!" Cecelia said, beaming with joy.
"Anything for you, beauty," Paul replied, causing some butterflies to enter Cecelia's belly.
Cecelia was happy, to say the least; she didn't even want to care about the past or her husband, whom she didn't even know. All she wanted to do was to enjoy the moment and be as sincere to this man before her more than any other thing.
"Some dollars for your thoughts?" Paul asked, bringing Cecelia out of her thoughts.
"That's some innovation right there; I thought it was a penny?" Cecelia asked as she laughed over Paul's little joke.
"Well, since we don't spend pennies anymore, I might as well make use of the present currency."
"I see!" Cecelia said they made their orders right before the menu was brought to them.
