CHAPTER 18: TRAVELING TO CALIFORNIA
"I better go speak to her!" Tatiana said as she made her way to Cecelia's room.
"Hi, I'm coming in," she said, letting herself into Cecelia's room. Cecelia only nodded in response, sadness written all over her face.
"I wanted to let you know that your husband had an accident, and his face got burnt in the military; he's still alive, though, and getting treatment!" Tatiana said as Cecelia's sadness turns to pity.
"What?! That's sad!" Cecelia said, stretching her hands to collect the picture that was with Tatiana.
"I hate to believe I'm being delusional, but he looks strangely familiar. Besides, what was he doing in a military bus?" Cecelia questioned.
Tatiana thought it was best not to answer and tried to change the conversation before Cecelia probed further.
"I don't think that should be your concern now; there are urgent issues to thrash. Tatiana said.
