CHAPTER 12: A BABY AMIDST THE CHAOS

"Are you out of your mind?" Sarah snapped the moment they stepped into the mansion. She paced in front of Cecilia, her frustration palpable. "You can't seriously be considering keeping this baby when we don't even know who the father is!" Cecilia lowered herself onto the couch, her hand instinctively resting on her abdomen. She had barely processed the whirlwind of emotions, but she was sure about one thing. "I'm not aborting this baby, Sarah." Sarah's mouth became open. "Cecilia, be reasonable! You were in Germany. You don't even know the man who—" "He didn't force me! Cecilia interrupted, her tone sharp and defensive. "It isn't the baby's fault either. Sarah, getting an abortion is something I'm totally against. This whole thing is complicated…" Cecilia heaved. From the corner of her eyes, she could see Tatiana trying to pay them no mind while typing away on her laptop. "Complicated?" Sarah stopped pacing, her arms crossed, her brow furrowed with disbelief. "What exactly do you
