Chapter 24

　　"Suzy, don't be afraid. He is just playing mystery!" 　　Max turned his head and comforted her softly. But what he didn't expect was that she raised her hand and pressed it on his arm. Then, she passed by him and walked straight towards Jeric. 　　"Suzy!" 　　His voice sounded unbearable. 　　Biting her lower lip, she walked firmly in front of Jeric, glanced at his outstretched hand hesitantly and slowly and put her hand into his palm. 　　He tightened his grip suddenly that hurt her fingers. She looked up at him, but saw that he still looked cold. 　　Feeling sad and standing on his side, she then looked at Max. 　　"I'm sorry. I really have to leave. Don't find me. Don't care about me. Take care of the Jones. Take care of the hard work of my mom and dad.", she said in a low voice, unaware that she thought she was just telling a story. 　　Jeric seemed to be very strange when he heard these words and couldn't help frowning. 　　"Suzy, if
