Chapter 55 It Was So Scary
"Okay, stop crying now."
Evan's heart softened, and he gave in at the end. The strings of tears pouring down from my eyes came to a sudden halt.
Hehe, as quickly as my tears come, they could go away quickly too.
I lifted my tearful little face to look at him. This tender and delicate look was the most effective in softening hearts.
I didn't forget the reason I was there. I sniffled as I picked up the clothes from the floor.

I was so afraid that he would change his mind.

I turned the key to the left and the right, but the door still wouldn't budge. From how poised Evan looked, I guessed that he might have locked it using a passcode.
