Completely distracted by Rylands relentless pounding. I could vaguely hear the upstairs shower running, I tried to get up but Ryland growled forcing me back down over the back of the lounge, the crinkling of plastic loud in the quiet house besides his heavy breathing as he rams into me. "Well Thaddeus said she was working her ass off, I didn t think he meant literally" I hear a voice and we both freeze. I knew that voice and the shame of that voice hit me like a tonne of bricks. I didn t know if I wanted to laugh at the predicament I was just caught in or cry. "Amara do not step through that door with Mara" I hear Imogen say behind us, Ryland quickly extracts himself from my body and I turn using him as a shield only to see Imogen dart back outside.
