Chapter 37 Obvious Distaste
When Mortimer’s displeased gaze swept over Tiffany, she shrunk back involuntarily.
“It’s a little warm… so we shouldn’t sit so close to each other.”
“Is that so? Then why are you wearing a jacket?”
Regretting her poor excuse, Tiffany had no choice but to remove the jacket and reveal her clothes.
Janet would definitely recognize her in this.
Suddenly, she had a bold idea.
She let down her ponytail so that her hair framed her face, then removed her cardigan. She was wearing a spaghetti strap dress underneath.
That way, as long as Janet didn’t come over to the first row, she wouldn’t recognize her.
Mortimer watched her coldly, with no intention of stopping her.
To him, Tiffany’s actions were all to please him with her femininity.
It appears that this woman was less dense than he had assumed.
Since she was already being proactive, perhaps he should reciprocate.
He stood up slowly and moved one seat closer to Tiffany.
Tiffany immediately moved to the next seat, keeping her distance from him
