Chapter 25 An Eye for an Eye

In just one short day, Tiffany witnessed the hypocrisy of two men. The darkness of people's hearts really made her feel disappointed in this world. When she arrived home in a taxi, Juliana had just finished work and was preparing dinner in the kitchen. When she saw her come home, Juliana wiped her hands dry on her apron and said, “Did you go out in the afternoon?” “Yeah, I went to meet up with Seth. He’s upset because Mortimer beat him up. He wants me to murder him.” Shocked, Juliana almost dropped her knife. “What? Murder? Tiffany, don’t do anything stupid.” “Don’t worry, I’m still sane. I’ve rejected him.” Juliana heaved a sigh of relief. “That’s good. Don’t forget that you’re pregnant now. Your health is the most important thing you need to worry about. Don’t interfere with the Campbell family’s affairs.” Tiffany also wanted to have a peaceful pregnancy, but reality didn’t allow her to have that dream. It wasn’t only Mortimer. If either Seth or Lucia knew her child was still alive,
