Chapter 21 The Ghost #3

Both girls looked in the direction of the house. Now the sky was blueing and some strange figure could have been seen climbing the ruined wall. It reached the top and was concealed from their sight. "What is it?" asked Jenny. "Let's go and see," said Rosie. The ruined wall formed huge stairs. Well, it was difficult for the girls to make it and yet together helping each other they subdued it. Fortunately, comfortable shoes were in fashion then. At last they stood on the flat part of the roof. They looked around. There seemed to be some area that was frequently and recently walked.
