….. Zita POV ?? During break period Every other people has gone out as usual It was left with only me, Dorothy and David Meanwhile, Jenny has gone out with Jason Victor went out to get something for both of us after telling him that I was not in the mood to go anywhere My intention was to go out with David Even though Victor has asked me out I told him that I wasn t interested Meanwhile he told me that he won t force me but I should just accept to be his friend I asked him why he didn t make the move ever since I have been in the school while he said that he was scared, because I seems to be a mean type He was scared of me avoiding him I had to accept being his friend, I knew that his mind was, I might later fall in love with him but I wasn t intending to Dorothy seems not moving outside like before After waiting for some minutes but nothing changed, so I decided to go and meet them As I was getting closer, they both stood up immediately "Oh, hey Zita" David said as he turned when he noticed me "Hi" I greeted back smiling Dorothy seems not worried "Where are you up to?" David asked "Normal place" I replied maintaining "Oh, that s where we are actually heading to" David said "Why don t we go together?" Dorothy requested She seems different because any other person would be jealous I managed to smile nodding It was somehow boring I couldn t start up a conversation as usual After dismissal, I had already told my driver to come very early than before We parked outside the school compound as I waited for David Dorothy has left for public bus as usual but very early According to her, she was rushing somewhere and would not like to miss the first bus I waited for close to 20mins before David s driver arrived The car drove out after few minutes "Follow them but maintain distance" I instructed my driver I just wanted to know where he lives After 30mins of driving, David s car entered a building My driver stopped at a spot while I got down and walked closer to the building I took a close look at it The gate has already been closed I walked to the other edge before going back It wasn t that big to be compared with my father s own "Good bye David" I said smiling to myself I went back to the car and the driver drove off ?????? ….. David POV ?? I felt tired as I was walking inside the house Everything that happened at the school started flashing back on my mind Right from when Jason attacked me He later warned me to stay clear off Jenny Although I had no feelings for her My mind ran to Dorothy then to Zita I would say that she was my first friend in that school She treated me with good mindset But that very day, she acted dull, unlike before She was always the conversation holder but things changed I guess she thought that Dorothy would take her place I could feel it from her face What I always like doing was to pay back love with love I was still thinking when the wind storm started again I wouldn t like to kill anyone again, not even in my house I was already in the living room "Oh no!" I shouted as the demon shows up "You don t have to be screaming anyhow" the demon said I was about to reply when our house help ran out from where she was "Young master, what is the problem?" She asked I turned to look at the demon who was just smiling It was too ugly "don t bother, She can t see me" the demon said "Nothing just that I forgot to return a pen I took from a friend" I lied "Okay, please your food will be ready soon" she said "No problem, is my Mom home?" I asked her "Not yet" she replied "Okay you can go" I said while she left I waited for her to go far "Too scary" I said before I went to sit on a couch "So go on" I said not looking at it, hoping that the demon was ready to tell me what it wanted me to know about its past "Am just here to warn you" the demon said while I raised up my head Its face was so scary and ugly "What do you mean?" I asked "We don t believe in love" the demon said "You and who?" I asked because I didn t want to believe that it was what I was thinking "You already know that you are no longer one but two, better stay away from anything concerning love" the demon said "Am just warning you, I won t spare" the demon added and disappeared "I wish not to be seeing this" I said breathing out loud "I wonder why it thought that am in love, It can t be" I added The following morning, I dressed up for school When I got to the class, almost everywhere was filled up I waved at those who wished to greet me Surprisedly, Zita wasn t in the class It was unlike her because she normally come early "Hi Jenny" I greeted waving at her just as I got to their seat She smiled waving back "Hi" she greeted back I could see Jason burning in anger "I will like us to speak, Jason" I said while his face changed His eyes widened and his head bent "Later" I added I had nothing in mind to talk about but I just had to say it I excused myself and went to my seat "Hey, good morning" Dorothy greeted smiling "Good morning, your smile is bright just like today s sky" I said "Don t just start" she responded laughing Just then a junior student walked in She greeted everyone before coming to me "Sorry to disturb you senior but a teacher asked me to call you" she said "Which teacher please?" I asked Why would a teacher call for me "Actually, am new in this school, so I don t know but she said I should come with you" she replied "Okay then, since am going with you, let s go" I said as I stood up I looked at Dorothy and we nodded at each other "She s in there" the junior student said pointing at an empty class meanwhile We haven t gone far from our classroom though "What on earth will a teacher be doing there?" I asked because I couldn t figure it out "I don t really know" she replied bowing her head "Okay, no problem, you can go" I said while the junior student bowed before going 'very respectful I thought before going in As I got in, There was Zita standing and was smiling endlessly at me I don t know, but anytime I see her, I always felt joy in within me "Zita, why are you here? And where is the teacher?" I asked "Two questions at a time, anyway, am the teacher" she replied "I don t understand" I said because I was kinda confused Does it mean she was a teacher all this while "I asked her to say that a teacher was calling, meanwhile I am the one" she replied while I smiled "Why is this class empty?" I asked as my mind ran to it "This room is actually meant for Jason" she replied I was just confused Is he God or what but I didn t bother pushing further I concluded it with a nodding "So why did you call for me?" I asked "Please don t see this in another way" she paused "Can we go on a date, I will take care of the bills" she requested Immediately, my mind ran to what the demon warned me the previous day I wouldn t want to hurt Zita ….. Dorothy POV ?? Immediately David left for the teacher who called him, a guy appeared to my seat from nowhere I mean he just sat even without my consent I turned, looking at him surprisedly "Hello" he greeted waving his hand a little But I didn t waved back because I was still confused I know him as one of my classmate but we had never for once talk to each other "At least, respond to my greeting" he added "Hi" I said as I slightly waved my hand while he smiled "Let me start with introduction, Am Boniface by name but you can call me Bonny in shortcut" he introduced smiling At the same time, he brought out his hand Of course I know what he meant but I ignored it as I faced forward "I don t mean to get you angry" Bonny said Still I ignored him "Am sorry" he added It was too much on me I felt bad "Am Dorothy" I responded I could sense him smiling "That s beautiful name, what if I refers you with Dor-Dor?" He asked laughing but not too loud "That s not funny" I said pretending to be angry "Sorry" he apologized Just then, a teacher walked in We greeted her before getting back to our normal positions "See you later" Bonny said smiling as he left for his seat It s true that he was handsome with good height But that was not my plan on men "How have it been going?" A voice came asking That was when it dawned on me that I have been thinking during the lesson Luckily, it was David I forced out smiles "Great" I replied I brought out my books as I was determined to focus on what the teacher was teaching "Seems to be lost?" He asked looking at me I maintained before looking at him "You mean me?" I returned the question, just to pretend He was about to say something when Zita took permission from the teacher and walked in My mind ran to it It must be Zita that was lied to be the teacher But I just prayed that she would be safe ?????? ….. David POV ?? It was break period and we went out as usual Me, Dorothy and Zita I saw Jenny and Jason coming from the other hand They were laughing at what they were discussing We were close to the school cafeteria when Dorothy stopped We almost walked ahead of her when we noticed that she stopped I turned around, followed by Zita She stood still, as if she was thinking of something I remembered the very day I came newly to the school, that was how she was, before looking at me As in, she remained still for some seconds before turning to face me But I was kinda confused at this point because I don t think the demon was around and I haven t felt the wind "What s the problem Dorothy?" Zita asked But She didn t say anything People who came across, would just looked at us and walked away "David speak to her, she s just making us to look like mad people" Zita added I was just waiting for her to finish "Calm down first" I said to Zita "Don t you understand?" Zita asked She walked closer to Dorothy but kept some distance "Dorothy" Zita called slowly Still Dorothy didn t make any comment rather, she turned to her right hand side We followed the direction There, were group of junior students Some were chatting, while some were playing and the rest were reading I was just confused, maybe the demon must be around there ?????? ….. Faith POV ?? It was somehow hard that very day to meet Jason only him He was being held tight by his so-called girlfriend It was during break period and I had been searching for Jason but no sign of him We were three different set of group, as we gathered The first set were reading, The second set were chatting with the latest news while The third set were playing I happened to be among the first set They were all reading but I wasn t I placed my middle finger on my forehead as I tracked where Jason was He was closer So I used my eyes in tracing him I saw him coming with Jenny I was still watching them when someone stopped just between me and Jason Although the person was far but it took my attention I narrowed my eyes, just to get a clearer view Immediately I saw her, my mind ran to what the queen mother told me 'There s someone there who sees demons, she got the talent "Dorothy" I said silently "She saw my face?" I asked myself as I stood up immediately and ran out from where I was I finds my way to my class ?????? ….. Dorothy POV ?? I could hear their noise but I couldn t tell where or who they are exactly inside But I was sure that the demon was there Zita and David were asking me something but I gave them deaf ears I was still looking at that direction when one of the students stood up and rushed away I couldn t capture her face very well I remained calm because I never wished to cause scene there Not that time "Sorry guys, I remembered something" I apologized turning to Zita and David "But that shouldn t make you not to talk, you got us scared" Zita complained I could see it from her face She was lost "That s why am apologizing" I said "It s okay, am really hungry, let s go and eat please" David said as he walked inside the cafeteria Zita followed while I was at the back But before I walked in entirely, I first of all turned to check if there would be something but the girl didn t show up again We got in and ordered for our food Casual food though because that was school cafeteria Silence took over as we ate gently We were almost done when someone drew a chair closer and sat on our table "Hello everyone" That was Bonny I felt frustrated already "Sorry that I am disturbing you" he apologized immediately "It s nothing, no problem" Zita replied "Aren t you eating anything?" David asked him "Don t worry, am fine, you are really caring" Bonny said smiling David had to smile back "Actually, my name is Bonny in shortcut, I have been admiring you guys, as in your team is great" he paused "I will like to join you guys" he added "We aren t forming anything, we are just friends" Zita said I wouldn t like him to be part of us also "I just wish to be among" Bonny pushed I wanted to say something but David tapped me a little "No problem, at least there will be male among us apart from me" David said and laughed It was kind of funny because I understood what he meant After much discussion, Bonny excused himself and went out "It s going to be great" David said smiling I don t know why I seems troubled "You guys should be careful with him" Zita said We both turned looking at her "It will be better" Zita added I was totally confused It s true that I don t really like Bonny of a guy but what Zita said was troublesome ?????? …. David POV ?? After dismissal, I was waiting for my driver as usual Meanwhile, Zita and Dorothy has left I started walking around the compound, just to kill boredom "Hey David" a male voice said It was Bonny, when I turned "You are still here?" I asked not believing it I thought I was the only one in the school He walked closer and joined in "Yes, I had to wait, so as to see you" he responded "Any problem?" I asked him as we started matching gently "Not really, it s all about Dorothy" he replied while I stopped I turned, facing him properly "What about her?" I asked "I love her but I don t know if she does" he replied I couldn t help it but to smile "How sure are you, that it s love?" I asked "Very sure, I just want you to help me and talk to her" he requested I stopped thinking Just then, my driver horned that he has arrived "I think I need to go now" I said instead We turned around and started walking towards the car We didn t say a word to each other I got to the car, opened it and entered Bonny bent closer to the window "Please help me and tell her" he requested again "I will try my best" I replied smiling as I closed the door He smiled back nodding He waved at me as we drove off I was busy with my normal net surf when an unsaved number came in I thought before picking up "Hello David" the voice came in With that, I was able to know that it was Zita My mouth curved with smile I forgot that I gave my number to her earlier that day "Hi, so this is your line?" I asked "Yes, I just want to make sure that you arrive home safely" she replied while I smiled Caring, I guess "Sure, I did, thanks for your concern" I appreciated "It s nothing, so when will it be?" She asked I understood what she was asking but I felt for her The worst part was that I won t be able to control it when it started "David" she called out again I couldn t reply back because I kept hearing when the demon was warning me Everything the demon said that day he warned me "Oh poor Zita" I said as I hung up and switched off my phone ?????? …..Faith POV ?? I got to my resting place and visited my mirror immediately I checked it out on what happened the other day in Jason s class I just wanted to confirm if she was really the one who could see ghosts "Oh, no, she has seen me" I said to myself really not happy "I must kill Jason sooner" I added "Not like that" the voice came from behind No doubt, it was the queen mother "Queen mother, how do you mean?" I asked turning around "I mean you can t kill him just like that" she replied "I still don t get it queen mother" I complained really confused "As far as that lady is alive, you can never be able to kill him" the queen mother replied pointing at the mirror I followed her hand and it was still that same Dorothy "Don t forget the other person" she added "Why won t I be able to kill him because of them?" I asked "They will stand your way" she replied "So what should I do?" I asked I wouldn t want anything to block me The queen mother has promised to promote my standard Just after killing Jason The reason why I accepted that was because of how Jason do use and dump ladies I don t really know what queen mother has with him "You can kill her because she is like human, but remember that she can see ghosts" the queen mother paused "And I don t know if she has the power to fight back" the queen mother added I became confused and dumbfounded ….. Bonny POV ?? Human being s intention is quite difficult and unpredictable If it would be gift able for one to be able to read heart, I guess things would be better than it is For the past three years, I have been wanting to be among the 'JAVS which was Jason s gang They were made up of "Jason, Andy, Victor and Sam" That was why they were referred as JAVS Firstly, they told me that my name was offline if they should add it to theirs And truth be told, it will be meaningless but still, I never give up Their group are well-known in the school and they were respected That was why I wanted to be part of them David seems to be a thorn on Jason since he came to our school Jason had invited me earlier to their gathering room That was when he told me that if I really want to join their gang, that I had to carry out a task for them, which was to get David to their trap It doesn t mean that he wouldn t be able to disgrace him publicly and punish him like he to do others but Jenny was the reason why he hasn t He wanted it to be in a place where no one would see them That was when I concluded that women are some guy s weakness I had to draw my plan with the best experience I had so far David seems to be in a relationship with Zita still he was close to Dorothy I had to use that method first, by trying to make friends with Dorothy I know if I was able to do so, that would draw me closer to David making the plan very simple and easy because I would use the opportunity for being close √ That evening after school, I rushed home to plan for another step to take 'since David has accepted me to be in their team, I think I will have to be closer to him more I thought as I smiled It was not yet upto 30mins since I came back from school when my phone started ringing It was Jason Of course I know why ?????? …. Jenny POV ?? I understands David as someone who is gentle No matter what happened That a day we spent together was different in my life I wished it to continue but it couldn t be possible I had told Jason to make peace with David but I could see that he wasn t ready ?????? ….. David POV ?? The following day, I got prepared for school I needed to meet Jason that very day I never wished for misunderstanding And also he was yet to tell me what I did to him for that sudden attack I met my Mom at the dinning room, already taking down her breakfast I greeted her as usual and joined in for the breakfast "Seems like there s no complain in this current school?" My Mom asked I stopped a bit as my mind ran to my Dad He has asked me that same question that day The time we were alone before he died "Nothing, it s great" I replied "So what about Dad s burial?" I asked because I didn t want to look ignorant "It is hard thing because what killed him is not an ordinary thing, so the police held it down" she paused gulping down some water "They won t release it until they get a clue, that s the problem now" she added Tears were seriously forming in my eyes but I had to clean them off I felt bad again I wished we had never relocate to that area but it was already late and am aware that the demon must still follow me And since I had seen someone who was able to saw it, I thought it would be easy I lost appetite all of a sudden "Mom, am off to school" I said as I got my backpack which I dropped on the floor when I was about to eat "Why didn t you finish your breakfast?" She asked "Nothing, am just satisfied" I lied "See you again" I added and left for school Everyone was present already as usual I used to wonder if they were sleeping in the school compound or what "Hi" I said waving at Jason and Jenny s direction Jenny smiled waving back but she didn t say anything Jason was just being serious, I ignored him and went to my seat "Hi" I said as I sat down Dropping my bag on the desk "Hi" Dorothy responded I could tell, she was smiling "You seems not that bright this morning?" Dorothy indirectly asked I don t know that it was visible I forced out a smile "Am okay" I replied It sounds good that she was caring "If you say so" she responded "So how is your new boyfriend?" I teased just to wave it off "Don t just start, I don t like him" Dorothy responded I could tell that she wasn t happy with that
