Chapter 6
"Your father wants to you to marry his friend's daughter" Sinaan’s mother informed him.
"Which friend?" Sinaan asked.
"Mr siyal....he wants to turn their decades long friendship into a relation now " his mother said and Sinaan nodded. he knew Siyal family very well, but he wasn’t sure what daughter they were talking about. To the point, he knew, Mr siyal's children were young.
"Which daughter? "he asked.
"Adar... its from his first wife" his mother informed and he nodded after thinking for a while. He wasn’t ready for the wedding, but if thats what his family wanted, he would agree.
It wasn’t like his life would change much. he would live as he lived now. Sinaan’s mother relaxed seeing him nod. Sinaan was a good son, but she knew that his grandmother had played an important role in bringing him up. He had the same thinking as the every typical man of this family. For them, only their own selves were important, women held little importance in their lives.
She had tried to make him understand the position of the women, but it wasn’t possible, when she herself didnt have that value.

Saeer ahmad went to Chashman's room when she didn't come out even after hours. he knocked the door softly. "yes ?" Chashman uttered in a grave voice.
Saeer ahmad entered the room, and found her sitting on the floor with her sketchbook in her hand. he moved closer, and saw that those were just dark scribbles.
"You shouldn’t have talked like that... he is your father" Saeer ahmad said sitting near her.
"He isn’t my father! he isn’t anything to me! Chashman AHMAD is my name. i have no connection with them !" Chashman said in a gruff tone, the pain, the tears she had been trying to suppress for hours started falling at that moment.
"bety !( my child! ) " Saeer ahmad felt his own heart clenching seeing her tears. he pulled her in for a hug.
"Yes, i am your daughter, when he wasn’t here for us when we needed him , he doesnt need to come now also. I don’t want to see him" Saeer ahmad heard her muffled voice.
"I hate him ! i hate that whole family ! i hate him..... " Chashman continued. Saeer ahmad let her cry for sometime, when her tears stopped falling, he asked her to go and wash her face.
He took her downstairs for dinner after that. Amna and Hanan lifted her mood with their random jokes, after dinner they went out for ice cream.
Chashman tried to forget about her day, as she looked outside of the window.
Amna wanted to comfort her, but she knew that it was of no use. it wont lessen her pain, instead it would just make her remember it.

Miraan rohero left in the afternoon, some urgent work came which needed his attention. He took Irtaza along with a few guards with him. He had messaged Irtaza to get all the information about the family last night, and right now he was going through it.
It was just a normal middle class family, Miraan didnt understand, why was it this difficult to control them. Miraan took a look at the house when they finally reached it.
All cars couldn’t even be parked inside, they had to leave them on the side of the road. Miraan told the guards to wait outside, as he headed towards the door. he rang the bell,
"Who is it ? " he heard a lady's voice.
"Miraan rohero " he said with all the confidence in his voice, and then there was a silence of a few seconds on the other side and then the door was finally opened.
A middle aged lady was standing there, looking at him nervously. ........
