Ebony's POV "Ebony, I am sorry. Please open the door, Love," Keith said from the other side of the bedroom door. I couldn't believe he would talk to me like that. It made me remember how he treated me before finding out we were Mates. But, I guess I was a fool thinking that he would change how he was with me. "I don't want to talk to you right now, Keith. Please leave me alone," I said There was silence by the door, and then I heard him take a huge breath.  "Okay, I will go to the other bedroom. It is getting late, and we have school tomorrow. I am sorry, and I will talk to you tomorrow," He said, and I felt a little upset that he gave up so quickly. I heard the door to the other room open and shut. I went to bed and lay there. I wasn't sleepy and kept thinking about how he had talked to me. I felt that maybe it was a wrong idea to give him a chance. If this was how he would react every time we had a disagreement, I knew it wouldn't work out.  At the same time, I didn't want to give up
