Simon responded without hesitation, "Bring them all. I'll help take care of them too."
Eleanor gave a soft nod. "That would be great."
With that, neither of them lingered. They turned back and made their way home, the path familiar yet strangely heavy with unspoken thoughts.
Eleanor remained silent, lost deep in contemplation. She had agreed to become Susan, just as Simon had requested. From this moment on, she would temporarily assume Susan's identity.
