Chapter 536
Madison interrupted me when I was pondering the next step of my plan.
"Ms. Wiley, we should leave," she said mysteriously without providing further explanations.
I raised an eyebrow, puzzled. Then, I followed her to a deserted factory and walked deeper into the factory.
My pace was slow and steady. I wasn't nervous in the least. This could be a trap, but at the moment, I couldn't care less anymore.
I wouldn't regret coming here even if I lost my life. It was all worth it for Zach.
Soon, we stopped at the door of a room in a rather secluded spot in the factory. I was taken by surprise at what greeted my eyes after I opened the door.
A person sat, tied to a chair in the middle of the room. His head was covered with a black hood.
The person was struggling non-stop against the ropes. I could even hear sobbing coming from behind the hood.
"Let me go! Help!" the person cried. The voice was light, so it could only belong to a woman.
