Chapter 262
Just as I was about to explode with anger, I saw a familiar figure appear in the distance, followed by a familiar voice.
"She doesn't want you here. Please leave. Do you want to keep causing her pain?" Liam had entered the ward and looked anxious, but he was firm and resolute toward Ethan.
My rage instantly subsided. It felt like having a sense of relief from someone having my back, but I knew that Liam had come here to talk to me about something important.
"I'll leave chicken soup here. Take care." Ethan didn't say more and seemed incredibly upset at seeing the third person enter. He left in low spirits.
As I watched him walk away, my heart felt like it was being torn apart, but I remained calm on the outside.
I didn't watch him leave, but my emotions were in turmoil. Sometimes it was impossible to stay calm after seeing the man I'd once loved so deeply.
Liam visibly relaxed once Ethan was gone. His expression remained one of deep concern as he looked at me lying in the hospital
