Chapter 31
Jack's question stunned me for a moment. I blinked as I stared at him in disbelief.
I never thought that he'd actually side with Elsa even when presented with such concrete evidence. He actually believed such a ridiculous excuse.
I knew I had never wronged Jack. When did I become such a wicked person in his heart?
I felt like the brother I grew up with was becoming more and more of a stranger to me.
He was just hopelessly dumb!
"Jack, our cooperation stops here. Working together with an idiot like you is really an insult to my intelligence." Eric, who had been silent for a while, suddenly spoke, his voice dripping with sarcasm. "If you want to continue making a living in the corporate world, I suggest you first get your head checked in the hospital!"
Jack's expression darkened with that remark. Elsa immediately came to his defense.
"Mr. Flint, did my brother do something wrong by choosing to believe me? I know you have a sharp tongue, but you can't insult him like that!"
