What really got under Mayra's skin was how Anderson passed her off to another man after she hurt Isabel. At the dinner table, Anderson played the role of a caring brother, giving her food and chatting away. Mayra took a few bites before feeling full. She laid down her cutlery and dabbed her mouth with a napkin. "Andy, I'm done. I'll head back to school now," she announced, rising from her seat. Anderson pulled out a pack of cigarettes.
