Chapter 1311
Sebastian remained unfazed. "They're lying. I was framed."
"Silence! So many witnesses saw it with their own eyes, and you still dare to deny it?" Maxwell roared and sneered at his defense.
"Mr. Hackney, you can't condemn me based on their word alone," Sebastian shot back.
"Fine. Then, tell me. What proof do you have to clear your name?" Maxwell snorted.
Sebastian paused momentarily before replying, "I don't have proof, but I can confront them face-to-face."
"Confront them? Very well. I'll give you that chance." Maxwell turned to the group of disciples from Mount Sword. "Which one of you will step forward to face him?"
One disciple stepped out. "I'll do it."
Sebastian looked at him and said, "You claim you saw me kill Claus with your own eyes. Where were you when it happened?"
"I was nearby. I saw you and Claus fighting, and then you killed him," the disciple replied.
Sebastian asked, "Are you sure I killed him?"
The disciple replied without hesitation, "Yes. I'm sure."
