Chapter 464
Nelson opened his mouth to speak, but no words came out. He could only lower his gaze and look at Sabrina.
Sabrina understood. His silence was an admission. Her lips curled into a bitter, mocking smile, one that Nelson couldn't bear to look at directly.
"Sabrina, I know you must be upset after finding out about William, but I had my reasons. I—"
"If I hadn't figured it out, when were you planning on telling me?" Sabrina cut him off, her voice sharp as she waited for his answer.
"I don't know."
All he knew was that, like William, she was everything to him. He couldn't risk losing either of them. He couldn't gamble with their lives.
