For Sabrina, lunch was unexpectedly relaxing.
After they were done with their meal, she drove Nelson back to his office.
In the parking lot, she finally asked him about his injury.
"It's nothing, just a small scrape. Don't worry about it," he said lightly.
"If it was just a small scrape, you wouldn't have been in the hospital for days," Sabrina replied before pulling items out of her trunk.
"This one's for blood replenishment, this one's for energy…" she explained, unloading more supplements and gifts.
Seeing the half-full trunk, Nelson frowned slightly and reached out, gently holding her wrist to stop her. "That's enough."
"I'm sorry. If it weren't for me, you wouldn't have ended up like this, and neither would Elijah." She only wanted to dig up some truths from the past and figure out who had hurt her so deeply back then.
